“You’re covered in blood. Are you hurt?”
    “It’s not my blood.”

W.H. Clark is the author of The Ward Trilogy.

The first book in the trilogy, An End to a Silence, was released in 2015. The second book, If I Scream, was published in December 2017. The third part of the trilogy, as yet untitled, will be published in the future. What happens to Ward after three books… he could stick around for a bit longer. Let’s see where his story goes.

The books feature a homicide detective called Ward, a city-hardened Texan who has settled in small town Montana. Ward has his own dark past and his ghosts have followed him north.

W.H. Clark is a resident of Sheffield in Yorkshire. He studied at universities in Sheffield and Huddersfield. An award-winning radio producer and writer of comedy, he has worked in the radio industry as a producer, designer, editor and writer. He has also worked as a web designer, has held posts in the civil service and, most recently, has worked for two or three major law firms.

He spent three and a half years of his life living and working in Spain where he developed his love of rum.

In his spare time he’s usually to be found walking in the countryside or in a wood. He’s a fan of trees and all living creatures. He has a particular fondness for bees and is one of the few people in the world who likes wasps.

The W stands for Wayne. The H… well, it’s a mystery.

This is the best mystery I’ve read in a very long time. Kept me guessing until the end of the story.

This book was a surprise. One of the best of the year. Literally hard to put down. Each chapter made me want to read the next. Full of surprises and turns. No part of it disappointed.

Words can’t describe what this book entails. It was so well written with suspense and murder. Detectives trying to solve a cold case that somehow is involved with the current two murders. This author is awesome.
